Kozhikode is a district blessed with beautiful natural beauty that includes forests, rivers and mountains. KSRTC Budget Tourism Cell organizes a day trip to Kozhikode’s lesser known natural wonders like forests, rivers and hills.

The journey passes through Kozhikode tourist spots like Janakikkad, Kariyathum Para, Thoni Kadav, Peruvannamoozhi. This package is prepared on 8th Sunday of this month. The journey is scheduled to depart from Kozhikode KSRTC bus stand at 6.30 am on Sunday morning and return at 7 pm.

Janakikkad will reach first. Janakikkad is located in Maruthonkara village at a distance of 54 km from Kozhikode city. As there are no wild animals here, one can enjoy the unique beauty of the forest without any fear. After spending time here with 131 hectares of forest, depart for Peruvannamuzhi Dam. Tourists who are interested in the dam can go for boating. After lunch the trip will end after visiting Kariyathumpara. This trip costs only Rs 360 per person.
